Prathibha Scholarship Programme is an initiative of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology & Environment (KSCSTE) under the scheme entitled "Students with Talent and Aptitude for Research in Science"(STARS). The Programme aims at motivating bright Students to higher studies in science by awarding them Scholarships. The "STARS" Scheme also provides Science Orientation Programmes for Prathibha Scholars in institutions of national repute, that help them to introduce themselves to cutting edge areas of Science Research and interact with pioneers in Science.

Students are selected for Prathibha Scholarship at Under-graduate level based on the marks obtained by them for all Science subjects in the Higher Secondary Examination and also based on the subject main opted for their Degree Course. Prathibha Scholarship could be continued for Post-graduate course subject to the guidelines of the Scheme.

Application for Prathibha Scholarship 2018-19 is to be done through online registration only. The students opting for Prathibha Scholarship should register through the Online portal provided in the website On successful registration, a Data-sheet will be generated in pdf Format. The applicant should get a printout of this Data-sheet and get it signed by the Principal/HoI of the Institution where the student is pursuing the Degree Course.

The Signed Data-sheet, along with attested copy of marklist of Higher Secondary Board Examination, should be send to the following address on or before 30th September 2018.
